Contact

You can contact me in a variety of ways, should you be mad enough to wish to do so.

  • Find me on Twitter.  This is my recommended method, as I am a Twitter addict.  Navigate your way to twitter.com/serial_insomnia or search for ‘serial_insomnia’ in your Twitter client.
  • Find me on Facebook.  Head over to facebook.com/serialinsomniac or check out the blog’s dedicated page here.
  • Leave a comment.  Leave a comment on any post or page; I don’t always reply (see here), but all comments are read and considered, and I absolutely love getting them.  Should you have a private query, I can contact you via email as addresses are required to leave a comment.
  • Use the below contact form to email me.  I’ll respond to short queries quickly, but beware that I can be a bit of a shite correspondent when long emails are required.  I’ll get to it eventually though!

Tell me your name! (Or pseudonym, I'm not discriminating) (required)

And your email - this one has to be a real one if you want any sort of reply. Sorry. (required)

    What's this about?

    And your message is..?

SI–I never remember this password business. Is it something you send me so I can access the password-protected material (you did this once before) or am I supposed to remember something? If it’s the latter, I’m in bad shape. . . hopefully you can allow me access as I am a faithful reader. Thanks, FR.

  2. Hey SI, I was wondering if you would be so kind as to let me read your private posts? Thanks :)

Your “About me” is so like me(20 years ago-I’m 42 and still an insomniac) that it’s eerie. I’m the U.S. I stopped analyzing at 40 (The “do not give a shit” gene kicks in apparently). I am going to read through your posts. It’s so strange some of the terms you use. They are very much like me(even to the early course of study and educational degrees.)

    Say hello sometime.

Dear Pandora, I am your faithful reader. And supporter. You may remember I mentioned there is hope at the end of opening Pandora’s box of horrors. I would like to read what you have posted. May I?

    Hi there SI,

I’ve just discovered your blog and I’m working my way through your archives to catch up with your story. I don’t usually comment on blogs (too shy) but I wanted to let you know how much I’m enjoying your writing style and your dark sense of humour, which is very much in keeping with my own.

I’m 30 and have bipolar II, PSTD and OCD, as well as multiple physical health problems.

I wonder if you would allow me to have a password so that I can see the posts that you’ve protected? I would really love to be able to read the ‘whole story’ as I’ve found it very interesting, and useful.

    Thank you
    Emma

      Hi Emma!

Thanks so much for the comment and kind words :) I’m on holiday right now so have limited Internet access, but I will email you the password when I get home :)

      Thanks again and best wishes

oops I had trouble on page not sure it will send or not.
I didnt’ realize these “contacts” would be posted, as they are above…(blush) minds kinda long and preachy.

I want to addend (append?) it to say “not that you won’t get better without C’…just meant it was the clear path that they are stupidly removing.
i’d be driven mad, if not already, by the illogic of this all.

    • laurali says:

sorry, it looks like my first post did not ‘post”.
I applauded you for your courage in facing these painful things. I was so sorry about your struggles with NHS and have been appalled for you that they are making you end with C. just as it all is opened up.
I said that I’d been enjoying your blog, that its been helpful to me personally dealing with my own issues cPTSD, which I have trouble emotionally accepting/believing tho I do intellectually. I see things you do, feel, think and they are similar to some of my own…it has helped me understand and accept some aspects of myself as I do so easily accept those same aspects in others (you).

I, too, would like to read your passworded posts. I think I asked you elsewhere but never heard…maybe on facebook message but don’t know if you got it. You must get alot of replies and have trouble keeping up…ironically perhaps as you are so emotionally drained right now it seems.

you are a very talented writer, and are very gifted in ways beyond mear book smart intellect. Thanks for sharing your gifts with us.
