Stories like yours are so painful to read but they are everywhere. Psychiatrist throw meds at symptoms and therapists talk in circles. Rarely is Borderline Personality Disorder treated with targeted drugs - instead drugs for bipolar or schizophrenia are used, no doubt with fingers crossed behind the doctors' backs. Have you tried EMDR? For victims of abuse, it is often very successful. It retrains the brain to "re-route" reactions, the triggers that are so painful to live with.
